Astros' Joe Smith, wife Allie LaForce fund meals for LBJ Hospital workers

Astros reliever Joe Smith and his wife, TNT broadcaster Allie LaForce, engineered the delivery of 350 to 500 meals to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital on Tuesday.

Smith and LaForce’s foundation — the HelpCureHD Foundation  — partnered with Project FRONTLINE to “help those restaurants that have remained steadfast with their efforts to feed healthcare workers at hospitals across the country.”
