What do a Houston Astros pitcher, sports reporter and medical student have in common?

A need to feed health care workers on the front lines during a global novel coronavirus pandemic.

Vermilion native Allie LaForce, a former Fox8 reporter and current TNT reporter, has teamed up with her husband, Joe Smith, and sister AuBree LaForce to help kick-start Project FRONTLINE, which will supply meals for those caring for the sick and vulnerable in Lorain County.
